On October 8th, Keyan turned 9 weeks old!!! *He is 25 inches long and weighs 14 pounds.
*He is in the 97th percentile in both height and weight but the only thing this means is ... right now he's a REALLY BIG BOY!
*He has a large herniated belly button that will hopefully correct itself as well as a tiny birthmark on his leg that looks like a very small dark bruise.
*Keyan is bigger than Kaysar was at this age and the reason I know this is the clothes. Keyan is wearing things that Kaysar didn't wear for another 4 weeks.
*He loves to talk and smile at us. Just today he smiled at our dog, Annie, when she walked by. *When he's not tired, hungry, or bored, he likes to lay on the floor staring at his big brother. If Keyan's on the floor, Kaysar is right next to him. At first Kaysar is being sweet by holding his hand and talking to him but then he gets an urge to be rough so I have to keep a close eye on them.
*He still loves his baths and has fallen asleep in it two times.
*He still hates hates hates the carseat although sometimes he'll handle it well.
*His naps are getting a little more scheduled but sometimes he will just cat nap all day which is exhausting to me.
*His night sleep consists of a 4-6 hour stretch (usually 4) followed by a 3-4 hour stretch (usually 3), followed by a 1-3 hour stretch.
*He is still eating every 2 hours thus the reason for his hugeness!

Kacen is the same with Tayah when they are on the floor. He dropped her the other day! I was so mad. Keyan is SO cute!
