Top 10 most recent events!

Top 10 most recent events!

Look for pictures to follow...

1. YARD SALE!
Lots of time, effort and work and we only made $240 (less counting what I lost on the rice crispy treats) but we had fun. However I recently made $69.50 selling 1 box of clothes at Once Upon a Child....next time I'll skip the yard sale and just go there.

2. BOISE TRIP!
Family vacation to Boise. We ate alot, swam ALOT , saw Toy Story 3 in Imax 3d, visited a friend's new baby, went to the zoo, had dinner at friend's house, and just had a really good time. We weren't ready to come home! Kaysar said "Bye Hotel. Next time my daddy doesn't work, I'll be back."

3. TINY TYKE SPORTS!
Kaysar did four sessions of Tiny Tyke Sports through the City. First they did baseball, then soccer, then track & field and lastly water balloon fun.

4. YOGA!
I found another place to do Yoga and nothing comes between my weekly yoga class.

5. KAYSAR TURNED 4!!!!
Keith had laid out of his old GiJoes the night before so Kaysar woke to GiJoe heaven. My mom watched Keyan so Kaysar and I could spend some time together. We ate at Chillis then painted an alligator and snake at Hands On Paint. We finished the night with a front-yard ice cream party for all the kids on the block...plus Papa Jerry and Grandma Sharon.

6. REARRANGING!
I turned the back room into the boy's bedroom leaving only in there Kaysar's car bed, the crib, the rocking chair and the dresser. The office is now our office\t.v. room\exercise room\playroom.

7. KEYAN IS WALKING!!!!
He's walking all over the place and I love it! He was so unhappy being stuck on the floor and I can testify 100% that an unhappy baby = unhappy mommy & a happy baby = a happy mommy. It's not the other way around like someone people will say. :-) Although he's very good at crawling, it wasn't good enough for him. He's still pretty clumsy and tipsy at times but there's no stopping him now!

8. SWING SET!
The boy's swing set (birthday present) arrived after Kaysar's birthday. Kaysar was so excited he could hardly stand it. Keith worked on it Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night and all day Sunday. The only thing left is painting protectant on it. Kaysar said to me last night "Mom come look at it. It's fantastic. It's awesome!" And I have to agree that it's pretty awesome. As he was falling asleep he said "Oh I need to call grandma Sharon so she can come see it." So come on over Grandma Sharon cuz it's all done!

9. CAT ATTACK!
The neighbor's dog went running into our garage. He's a known cat-killer so I yelled at my neighbor that my cat was in there. Well it was too late. At first I thought Pepper had escaped but when she couldn't walk we brought to the vet. They did x-rays and discovered the dog had clamped down around her heart breaking all the rib bones above and around her heart. They said he just missed her lungs and heart. I can't even look at that dog anymore without wishing mean thoughts upon him. But $463 later she is home and on the mend.

10. SLEEP TRAINING!
So sometime during all the summertime craziness Keyan's bedtime was pushed to 10:00 p.m. Plus we put him in his crib and into a separate bedroom....so naturally his sleep became horrible!
I'm officially putting him back on an early nighttime schedule and I've been trying to teach him to fall asleep on his own in his crib. This takes 30 minutes to 1 hour before he finally gives up. I haven't been able to let him cry-it-out so I'm trying to soothe him without much interaction and without picking him up. We still have a ways to go but I'm positive we'll get there.
