Kaysar has quoted movie lines since he was very small and it's always been so funny. The other day he said "the gods don't like me." I was taken back by this crazy statement until I realized it's a line from How to Train Your Dragon when Hiccup says "The gods hate me." I had to tell him that "God loves him very much and the gods on the movie are just pretend." Then last night he asked God to "help me stand on this pumpkin and get really strong."
He had been asking and asking me to make him a bird house. Well that is just out of my expertise so I bought him one to paint. For some reason he insisted the entire thing be red.
It was Kaysar's turn for the show-and-tell bag at school. The night before we were leaving my mom's house in Jerome when he spotted a couple of frogs and a leaf bug. Not being afraid to touch them, of course, he scooped them up and we put them all in a jar. They were a big hit at school and he was so excited. After a couple days we let them go in our garden to live another day.
All the kids on the block got together for a neighborhood Halloween Parade. At the top of their lungs they were yelling "Happy Halloween!"
First Field Trip!
First they rode on a trailer pulled by a tractor to the Proost Family Pumpkin Patch. Kaysar picked out one pumpkin then decided it was too small so picked out one slightly bigger. Then they went to Zulu's Bagel for hot cocoa and bagels. It was his first ride on a real school bus and that was his favorite part.

Kaysar cracks me up! He's so funny! It sounds like his first field trip was a lot of fun.
I loved the new pictures of Keyan, too. He's so SO SOOOO cute! I can't believe how fast he's growing up.
