Goose Eggs, Storytime and Hiding-N-Seek

I had just returned home from an energizing and relaxing yoga class to find my little baby's fore-head shaped like Mega Mind! Keith told me, "It just happened, he hardly cried and the bump was bigger." It looked so bad I couldn't imagine it looking worse. Obviously Keyan wasn't too torn up about it either.

Other things about Keyan:
* He picked up from Kaysar the word "mine." So he walks around slapping his hand on everything saying "mine! mine! mine!"
* I knew from the beginning he was my fit thrower. Today he spent 5 minutes crying at Jamba Juice because I wouldn't take the lid off his smoothie. He doesn't care when or where he is.
*He wants to "walk" everywhere and go explore everything.
* One day I noticed he had 4 new teeth. He had been so unbelievably grumpy and sick. Now I know why.
* My favorite word he says is "Avacado." After he says it he laughs out loud.
*He really hates to get dressed and then be put into his carseat. I get a workout just getting him ready.
*He loves food! We recently discovered he loves dill pickles.
* He is saying a few two-word sentences such as, "Annie! No!" "Daddy Home?" and "Bitamin Time." (That's Vitamin Time)

Story time every night is a great wind-down for all of us.

Keyan's favorite book is the Hallmark Talking Book in "Ho. Ho. Ho."

Kaysar found a new hiding spot and told me to shut the door until daddy got home. Well daddy wasn't due home for a couple of hours but he was determined to wait it out. It lasted a few minutes. :-)

Other things about Kaysar:
* He loves to test me. He tells me "No" just to see what I'll do about it.
* He loves swimming lessons and appears to be the most energetic and out-going student. He can float by himself which he is really proud of. The main pool was out of order last week so we had lessons at a different place. They had to hang onto the side for an entire 45 minutes. After we left he told me he didn't like that place at all.
* He wakes up in the mornings with the first thing he asks is "Can I watch a movie?" The second thing is, "Can I have some ice cream?" Every morning! What do you think would happen if for one day I let him watch movies all day long and eat ice cream all day long???
* He is finally becoming interested in writing letters. I'm going to change his name to Owl because he can write that all by himself!
* He is almost all vegetarian. The meats he does eat are McDonalds Chicken Nuggets (the only ones he likes), Corn Dogs (but they can't be too crispy or broken), Bacon, Sausage and Pepperoni.
*Loves dinosaurs. I've gotten him two documentaries on dinos from the library and he loves watching them.
