DePew Family: Summer is flying by...

These are just a handful of the pictures I've taken this summer so far!

This is Keith's mom and stepdad's side of the family getting together to celebrate his 60th birthday!!!

Okay my pictures are all out of order so the picture above is from the birthday party.

The picture above is Kaysar at swimming lessons. Yes is he swimming all by himself!

Keyan LOVES LOVES LOVES to play ball. We're talking serious business too. All day long he plays football or basketball or "catch mommy" or golf or anything that involves playing with a ball. At the YMCA music class he'll only play with the balls. We don't leave the home very often without his basketball or football. He'll carry one around all day and he can always spot a ball no matter where we are. I've never seen anything like it and I see a vision of me sitting in the stands cherring him on!

Kaysar's best bud is a little neighbor boy who lives one house down from us. He's younger than Kaysar but they get along great. We've spent hours and hours playing outside with the neighborhood children.

Above picture is swimming lessons. His teacher, who I ironically taught 6th grade Sunday School to many years ago, was his teacher. She said he did awesome and could move up to the next level. The problem is he's not old enough to move up to the next level. I think I have a future swim competitor on my hands! He had to be the first one to make it to the other side and he was constantly concerned about who was right behind him. Everything is a race and a competition for him so I think I'll put that to good use later on.
